Red Glove

If you havent already realized what type of books I like most then you probably just dont read my posts but just by looking at the titles you can tell that they arent mundane in the slightest. This would obviously be the case with Red Glove, which is the second book in The Curse Workers series. Now before you dive into this epic murder mystery/alternate universe/magical world of awesome you have to read White Cat.

You can find my review of that here http://sassysshelf.wordpress.com/2010/08/17/white-cat/

Holly Black is such an amazing writer and I truly admire all the thought and planning that goes in to these books. Red Glove definitely keeps you guessing and I should have reread white cat before I started reading this because there are so many things that I had forgot but found quite interesting once they were brought back up. It just keeps you rooting for Cassel which, coming from me may mean something because I have a hard time rooting for the main character constantly throughout a whole series.

All in all I have to give Red Glove ***** 5 stars!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Goodness dont come for free.

The Scorpio Races Coming Soon!

Hey guys I haven't posted anything on soon to be released books in a while but alas I have a grand one for you! If you don't already know Maggie Stiefvater is one of my all time favorite authors and she has a brand new book coming out in October! Now since I'm not the best at explaining what a book is about here is the description straight from Goodreads.

"It happens at the start of every November: the Scorpio Races. Riders attempt to keep hold of their water horses long enough to make it to the finish line. Some riders live. Others die.
At age nineteen, Sean Kendrick is the returning champion. He is a young man of few words, and if he has any fears, he keeps them buried deep, where no one else can see them.
Puck Connolly is different. She never meant to ride in the Scorpio Races. But fate hasn’t given her much of a chance. So she enters the competition — the first girl ever to do so. She is in no way prepared for what is going to happen."
I hope that makes you excited about the book to. I know it will be good.
I couldn't forget to show you the trailer now could I? It is, as are all Mrs. Stiefvater's trailers, spectacular! Enjoy!
