Dream Casts

Hey guys!
I've been thinking of doing blog series of my dream casts for series' that I've read recently read or have been reading(One's that I started awhile ago but still have books coming out) And I want your help! If you've read any of the books I have or are reading them and you have an idea for a character please share with me! I'm always trying to find some actor/model/singer so on to fit a character the way I see them. I would love to see who you think would fit and compare them to my own choices, unless we agree on some people.

Here are the books I plan on giving dream casts for:

Blue Bloods
The Hunger Games
The Mortal Instruments
The Infernal Devices
Hush Hush/Crescendo
White Cat
Beautiful Creatures (Possibly)
Shiver/Linger(I've done one for Shiver already but it needs to be updated)

Now this isn't the order that I'm going to do them in It's just the list of ones that I want to do. The list will get bigger after I read more of the books that I have to read still. If you haven't read any of these, let me say that I really like them or else I wouldn't have them on the list. Haha.

Please give me your ideas on anyone that you'd think would fit any parts from these books! And also please subscribe so you can see when I've posted a new blog!

Happy reading!

Catching Fire and Mockingjay

Hey guys, I just got finished reading Mockingjay! I almost have no words for whatever it is that I just read but I liked it! For me, since I get attached fairly easy to characters a lot of time, I was on a really bad roller coaster through these two books. Starting with Catching Fire, I seriously hate this book so much that I like it. It's not the best in the trilogy but it literately, is good. Mockingjay...there was a lot that happened in Mockingjay, most of my time was spent worrying about the characters I loved the most. Still it's really good but the major things that happen in both these books is pretty predictable. That's all I have to say.

Characters on my favorite list include:
1. Peeta---Every time something happened to him I would start crying. It was crazy.
2. Haymitch---He was, for me, a safe house throughout the whole thing. I loved him from the beginning mostly and my love for him just grew throughout the whole thing.
3. Finnick---I couldn't help but love him. I don't see how anyone could hate him.
4. Johanna---What can I say? She has an attitude that I like.
5. Cinna---How can you not love him?
6. Venia, Octavia, and Flavius---Can't help but love them.
7. Pollux---I just liked him.
8. Cressida--- Again, I just liked her.
9. Prim---She didn't grow on me until Mockingjay.

Gale. Gale I liked sometimes but by the end I hated him. It hurts thinking about what he did but I guess it was a good move.

Here's my song list for the books, these are just songs that are mostly from Peeta's perspective but ones that I feel fit the mood.

Underdog by The Jonas Brothers- The Hunger Games
Taking Chances by Celine Dion- The Hunger Games
Stuck in the Moment by Justin Bieber-Catching Fire
That Should Be Me by Justin Bieber-Catching Fire
Can I have This Dance from High School Musical 3- Mockingjay
Our Song by The Spill Canvas- Mockingjay
Hello by Lionel Richie

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where they strung up a man they say murdered three.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger could it be
If we met up at midnight in the hanging tree

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where the dead man called out for his love to flee.
strange things did happen here
No stranger could it be
If we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run, so we'd both be free.
Strange things did happen here
No stranger could it be
If we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.

Are you, are you
coming to the tree
Wear a necklace of rope, side by side with me.
Strange things did happen
No stranger could it be
If we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.

Book Club

Hey guys, I just finished reading Catching Fire but I'm not going to review it until I read Mockingjay. I do want to talk about a book club like group? I've wanted to start one for a while and if any of you who read my blogs wants to help me create one please tell me! I won't pick a book, I'd put it to a vote and make sure that it's a book that either no one has read or one that only a few people have. I love talking about the book I'm reading while I read it if you haven't already noticed. So please give me your thoughts on whether you'd like to do this or if you'd simply just like a group that reads a book over a certain period of time and then discuss what we thought about it. Tell me, tell me, tell me!

Happy reading!

The Hunger Games

Where should I start with this one? Wow... I don't know but this is one factastic book! One really good thing about this story is it pulls you in right from the get go I read the first chapter and was like, okay this is starting off good and by the 3rd chapter I didn't want to put the damn thing down! I don't even know what to say, I'm like, speechless! I can't wait to get my hands on Catching Fire and Mockingjay, I'm not going to get any sleep! The last time I binged on a book series where I didn't want to stop reading was with Twilight(NOTE: This is not like twilight, except for one of my opinions but not a sparkly, happy, vampire world), after I had gotten into it, I just want to sit and read Catching Fire and Mockingjay and lash out at Catnip. I do like Katniss but she does some things that piss me off! I give this book like a billion stars and I recommend it to everyone! I would not mind living in district 12 if I have the privilege of being around Peeta. ;)Really, go read this, guys too! Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Stuck in the Moment by Justin Bieber is totally my song of choice for this book. It just feels right for this book, there are just certain lines that reflect Catnip and Peeta's relationship.

Happy reading everyone!

Crescendo!!

Hey everyone! As some of you know, tomorrow is a special day because it's Crescendo's official release day in the US! Now If you don't know, I was fortunate enough to score myself an advanced reader copy of Crescendo at the beginning of the summer and I LOVE it! It picks up right where Hush Hush leaves off and the book is almost entirely full of action! I got through it in no time and it's in my top 5 list of favorite books. I can't wait for other people to get to read it, you all will love it, I'm not joking. And if you've read Clockwork Angel and were thinking that cliff hanger ending was terrible... it is nothing compared to Crescendo's cliff hanger ending. Oh Becca I love you so much and thank you for an awesomamzing series! I can't wait until Tempest!

Here's a little snip it from Crescendo for you guys!

"The guy standing on the doormat was tall and well built- I could tell, since his t-shirt fit on the snug side and blatantly advertised PLATINUM GYM, PORTLAND. A silver hoop ran through his right earlobe, and his Levi's hung dangerously low on the hips. He wore a pink Hawaiian-print ball cap that looked fresh off a thrift store shelf and had to be an inside joke, and his sunglasses reminded me of Hulk Hogan."

There you go! Happy reading!

Linger

Let me start by saying that this book is awesome. It does start off a little slow and depressing but it picks up fairly quickly in my opinion. It didn't take long to get over that "I don't want to read this too much" hump and got me in the "I don't want to put this down" mode. The one thing I didn't like about it was surprisingly, Grace! She started off fine but by the middle of the book I was just like, "get rid of Grace and give me more Cole." I didn't have a problem with her in Shiver but what can I say, there had to be a conflict in Linger in order for Forever to happen, right? Oh and the green color text in the book blew my mind for Sam (me, Sam not Sam from the book) reasons, I kept thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me until I asked my secret book club if I was crazy or not, and I found out that the text color in Shiver is blue! I would have never noticed, haha.

All in all I thought Linger was a great book and I would totally read it again and iIf you haven't read Shiver yet, I think you should. Its got a very different concept than any other werewolf, wolf, shapeshifter book that I've read and I think that it appeals to a little bit broader audience than if it were like other werewolf/vampire books. I hope you pick it up and like it and if you don't  you won't hurt my feelings because I know everyone has differences in reading taste. Happy reading!

Clockwork Angel

Alright first off I think you should know that Clockwork Angel is officially my favorite book of all time! I can't stop thinking about it! I just want to read it again and again, more than I wanted to read Crescendo again after I finished it. If you're familiar with Clare's work or even if you aren't but you love escaping to different world this is totally a book for you! I already know that The Infernal Devices is going to be my most favorite series, ever! I can't wait for Clockwork Prince to out!
